Rings&Colors is a new Twist on famous Rubik's Cube game!

12 balls of different colors are located on three intersecting circles. A player can rotate any circle with balls clockwise or counterclockwise. The objective is to make a desired figure out of colored balls. The display will show the disposition of balls to be achieved. Choose a puzzle type ranging from a puzzle with balls of 2 colors (beginner's level) to a puzzle with balls with numbers from 1 to 12 (expert) and play the game. Remind-Me-Please is a freeware reminder program which will give you advance warning of upcoming events, appointments, TV programs, movies, birthdays and so on. Enter one-off or repeating events: daily, weekly, monthly, yearly and specials like 'Every two weeks from 1/1/2002' or 'Third Sunday of each month'.

I use this program to remind me about bills. I've got it set up so my phone bill repeats every 2 months and gives me 7 days of warnings before it falls due. Same with utility bills, car registration, insurance, etc, etc. Once it's set up properly it'll give you a splash screen listing all upcoming events whenever you reboot your computer, followed by a splash screen for items due NOW.

As an added bonus, this program will also run in a networked environment. You can allocate a username to each machine and point each one to a central shared database. Anyone can then enter 'SHARED' events (e.g. Family outings, company meetings) which will show up on everyone else's screen. Private reminders will only show on the PC which they were entered on. I know you can do some of this stuff on Outlook, but my program isn't a resource hog.

Remind me please will run in the System tray, and optionally plays a WAV file when events occur.

RainbowGround is a utility for wallpaper / Web background image creation.
It produces periodic, tileable images based on user-given or randomly generated
color factor values. It can save resulting images as Web background (*.jpg)
or as Windows background (*.bmp).
At the upper left corner of the RainbowGround window there is preview area of generated image.
Sliders around it are controlling red, green and blue color factors. As you change their positions, resulting image is changing too.
At the right there are brightness and contrast sliders. They also affect resulting image.
Lock buttons are used to lock groups of sliders so that
a) all sliders in the group are linked and moved together and
b) locked sliders are not affected by Randomize button.
Randomize button changes positions of all unlocked sliders including brightness and contrast.
Small triangle buttons are Reset buttons for returning appropriate sliders to their initial positions.
The Save button serves for saving resulting image to a file.
