Mechanics (a.k.a. Visual Mechanics) is a Virtual Laboratory of Mechanics. An Intuitively Easy-To-Use collection of -at least- 48 interactive Mechanics simulation modules that allow the user to simulate and visualize experiments.

A Virtual Laboratory mainly a t the University level, however, High Schools with ambitious programs and Colleges may find Mechanics very useful for their courses. Mechanics may be used (1) during classes, to support the teacher's explanation, making classes more interesting, (2) in the library by students, to review the topics covered in classes (3) at home by students to run experiments with the student's data, even extreme experiments, which result in a better grasping of topics. Teachers may use this software to prepare classes and suggest experiments.

Mechanics makes the students really learn because the experiments exceed those studied in a traditional Mechanics course, thus opening the doors to a richer and enlightening panorama.

In a conventional (traditional) Physics laboratory it is impossible to execute experiments with extreme parameters, for instance it is impossible to shot a gun, because it is dangerous, it is impossible to make changes in the acceleration of gravity, it is not possible to carry out experiments in Slow Motion or to settle a time freezing. This software overcomes all these drawbacks.

EconoModeler is an Intuitively-Easy-To-Use software dealing with Analytic Geometry for Mathematical Economics, Modeling and Management applications.

EconoModeler can be used as a Virtual Laboratory that very quickly and very easily generates Plane Analytic Geometry objects like Points, straight lines, Circumferences, Parabolas, Ellipses, Hyperbolas, Circular Arcs, Lines between two points, etc, to be applied on Economic Modelling and in Management.

EconoModeler can be used in the classroom by the teacher as an aid to make visualize and understand the topics he/she covers, thus making a visual and dynamic class, in the office or at home the teacher may use EconoModeler to prepare classes and exams. Students may use this software at home or in the library to review and study the topics covered in class, thus grasping the Economy topics in a much easier and quicker way.

Teachers and students may use EconoModeler in their laptops during classes.

In EconoModeler the user places the origin of coordinates (hence the X and Y axes) wherever he/she needs it to be. This attribute is very important and powerful because some applications need only the first quadrant of the Cartesian plane, for other applications the position of the origin of coordinates may be adjusted at will.

The names of the X and Y axes may be changed at will, either selecting them from an included table or placing them through the keyboard.

Curvilinear: Easy Learning Plane Analytic Geometry

An Intuitively-Easy-To-Use visual interactive software, oriented to overcome the abstraction that exists in the Plane Analytic Geometry (PAG), this is a tool that makes it easy to learn and master the PAG, the user is allowed to literally see the mathematics while carrying out operations and problems by hundreds in a very short time with the help of the mouse.

One thing is to study and try to solve problems on Plane Analytic Geometry with a book (and if you can afford it, with a private teacher), definitively the number of solved problems is limited and the grasping of the subject is not always total. Using Curvilinear as a tool to learn PAG while solving problems is not only effective, it is also amusing and rewarding, Curvilinear is a tool with which hundreds of problems can be solved very quickly once and again, until the subject is understood. Hundreds of variations of a given problem can be made with very few mouse clickings.

Curvilinear processes the (x,y) coordinates entered by the user by either of two methods: mouse or keyboard.

When entering data under the Keyboard option, the selection of objects (point, line, circle, etc) is made with a mouse click on the object icon, then a small window shows up where the user enters the (x,y) coordinates via keyboard. This data input mode is oriented to the solution of specific problems

The data input under the Mouse option is very quick provided there is no need of accurate data input, otherwise it is very slow because it requires a very high steadiness of the hand (a firm pulse) to control mouse motion.

The Mouse input mode is ideal while learning PAG, when a great deal of practice is needed, and the student needs to become acquainted with the Mathematics and meaning of the PAG.
